The Piws Partnership Journey

Supporting your organisation step by step to improve accessibility and inclusion.

How Piws Partnership Works - Your Journey

Throughout your partnership, you’ll receive ongoing guidance, visibility, and support — because meaningful accessibility is a journey, not a destination.

Getting Started

Laying the foundations

We begin by getting to know your organisation and where you are on your accessibility journey.

What happens:

  • Partner listing and initial planning

  • Introduction to Accessibility training

  • Social media welcome and visibility

This stage helps you understand accessibility from lived experience and sets clear, realistic next steps.

Taking Action

Turning commitment into practice

You’ll start making visible, practical improvements with hands-on support from Piws.

What happens:

  • Access Card sign-up support

  • Posters and resources provided

  • “Listing of the Month” feature

  • Access Ambassador visit

This stage focuses on improving communication, gathering feedback, and building trust with disabled people and families.

Building Confidence

Strengthening access and communication

As your confidence grows, we support you to develop clearer access information and inclusive experiences.

What happens:

  • Access tracker support (entrance & parking)

  • Sensory story support

  • Continued guidance and feedback

This stage helps customers understand what to expect — reducing anxiety and improving experiences for everyone.

Review & Progress

Reflecting, improving, and planning ahead

We help you review progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.

What happens:

  • Policy review

  • Website accessibility review

  • Staff feedback review

  • End-of-year progress report

This ensures accessibility remains embedded, not forgotten — supporting long-term impact.
