A unique programme that develops both an Accessibility Champion and an accessible venue. Whether undertaken by a member of staff or a person with lived experience working with a venue of their choice, the programme delivers progressive benefits over three levels. As the Accessibility Champion advances through Levels 1, 2 and 3, they apply their learning directly within the venue, undertaking audits, implementing good practice, identifying barriers, and embedding inclusive approaches throughout the organisation. This means the venue progresses alongside the Champion, working towards: Venue Accessibility Quality Assurance Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
The Individual Gains: Accessibility Champion Levels 1-3, Practical experience applying accessibility principles, Professional recognition and specialist expertise. The opportunity to create meaningful change through lived experience.
